Gruppo Fellow wins 1st Prize at the 2nd EAORL-HNS Congress at Nice, France

Dr. Marimar Medina, Fellow at the GO, won the 1st place at the paper presentation competition at the 2nd meeting of the European Academy of ORL and Head & Neck Surgery (EAORL-HNS), held at Nice, France from 27th-30th April 2013. She presented a paper titled 'The role of Cochlear Implants in vestibular schwannoma management' in the Otology section.

Gruppo Fellow wins 1st Prize at Neurotology 2013 Congress, Milan, Italy

Dr. Sampath Chandra Prasad, Fellow at the GO, won the best paper award at the paper presentation competition at the Neurotology 2013 Congress, held at Milan, Italy, from 11th-12th April 2013. He presented a paper titled 'The use of intratympanic gentamycin in patients with vestibular schwannoma presenting with disabling vertigo: a supplement to the wait-and-scan management policy'

Gruppo Fellow wins 1st Prize at the 29th Politzer Society Congress at Antalya, Turkey

Dr. Sampath Chandra Prasad, Fellow at the GO, won the 1st place at the basic research paper presentation competition at the 1st Global Otology Research Forum (GLORF) competetions, held alongside the 29th Politzer Society Meeting at Antalya, Turkey from 13th-17th November 2013. He presented a paper titled 'Integrative genetic, epigenetic and pathological analysis of paraganglioma reveals complex dysregulation of NOTCH signaling.' He was awarded 2000 Euros, a medal and a citation.
